NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
City of Versailles, Missouri
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 11th day of March, 2025, at 5:30pm at City Hall, 104. N. Fisher Street, Versailles, Missouri 65084, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Versailles, Missouri (the “City”) will hold a public hearing pursuant to the Community Improvement District Act, Sections 67.1401 through 67.1571 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, as amended (the “Act”).
The purpose of said hearing is to consider the approval by the Board of Aldermen of a petition (the “Petition”) to establish the Versailles Main Station Community Improvement District (the “District”) and authorize powers granted to the District under the Act. The Petition was filed with the City Clerk of the City on the 24th day of February, 2025. The proposed District covers approximately 5.21 acres and consists of three parcels (Morgan County Parcel Nos. 12-3.0-06-300-001-007.000, 12-3.0-06-200-009-002.000, and 12-3.0-06-200-009-002.004) generally bounded by and adjacent to W. Newton St. to the south and S. Krekel St./W. Second St. to the east. A complete legal description of the District is contained in the Petition. A map of the District is shown below.
All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at this public hearing.
A copy of the Petition is on file with the City Clerk and is available for review by any interested party during regular business hours at City Hall, 104 N. Fisher Street, Versailles, MO 65084.
Final determination of approval of the Petition will be made by the Board of Aldermen.
