A. Whenever the Director of Public Works, through information gathered from the Versailles Police Department, the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department and through the U.S. Weather Service or on the basis of falling snow or freezing rain or sleet, finds that it will be necessary that motor vehicle traffic be expedited and that parking on all or a portion of some City streets be prohibited, he/she shall have the power to declare a "snow emergency".
Snow Routes & City Hall Closure Due to Weather
If you normally park cars around the square or two blocks off the square (see above) please park at the city parking lot by H & R Block or the city parking lot across from the fire station. Please remove vehicles off all designated city streets so snowplows and emergency vehicles can get through. In the event of dangerous or inclement weather city hall will close until safe to open.
If you have any questions, please contact City Hall at 573-378-4634 and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Jamie Morrow
Mayor, City of Versailles
